Meet Amanda Anderson

Founder & CEO of Sharewear

Amanda Anderson is the heart behind Sharewear — a company born from real life, real love, and one very important question.

With a background in nursing from the University of Central Florida and psychology from Florida State University (Go Noles!), Amanda has always been drawn to helping people feel safer, seen, and supported. But Sharewear didn’t start in a boardroom or brainstorm session — it started at home.

During a difficult season, Amanda’s father-in-law was navigating multiple serious health conditions. Like many people, he wore a standard medical ID bracelet — the kind that lists a few words like “Heart Disease” or “Dialysis.” One day, Amanda’s mother-in-law asked a simple but powerful question:

“Isn’t there something better than this?”

Something that could actually help in an emergency.
Something that could speak when he couldn’t.
Something that shared real information — not just a label.

Amanda went looking for answers. She tested what was already on the market… and came up short. The options were outdated, poorly made, confusing, or simply not something you’d want your loved one relying on in a critical moment. So she decided to build what she couldn’t find.

And Sharewear was born in 2024.

Today, Sharewear creates modern, easy-to-use safety wearables designed to give people a voice when they need it most — from children and seniors to individuals with medical conditions and special needs. No charging. No apps. No complicated tech. Just smart, dependable tools that are there when it matters.

Amanda lives in sunny Florida with her husband, two kids, and their 120-pound Rottweiler, River. When she’s not cheering from the pool deck at swim meets or soaking up family time on the water, she’s connecting with families who understand that peace of mind isn’t a luxury — it’s essential.
